Resoling Information
We currently offer six different types of rubber. Our primary rubbers are Vibram Edge and Stealth C4, which are included in the resole cost at no extra charge. We have four other rubber options available, each with a $5 additional charge. Please refer to the list below for more details about the rubber.
Vibram’s XS Edge (Edging
& Durable)
Stealth C4 (Stiff & Sticky)
Vibram Grip2 (Sticky & Sensitive) +$5
Neo Fuse (Sticky & Resilient) +$5
Neo Force (Edging & Durable) +$5
Unparellel RH (Edging & Sticky) +$5
If you’d like your shoes to be resoled with the original rubber, and we carry it. We recommend selecting that rubber when you place the resole order. If you choose “Let us choose,” we’ll either use Edge or C4, whichever the cobbler feels is the best fit for your shoes.
We would love to keep all the shoes out of the land, but unfortunately, that is not feasible.
If your shoes have large holes and missing material, excluding the rubber, it’s unlikely that we’ll be able to repair them. However, there’s a slight possibility that we can. We draw the line between rejecting shoes that we believe will be a waste of your money and shoes that will require stitching but will still be functional.
Please send us detailed photos of your shoes, and we’ll do our best to evaluate their repairability.
It’s similar to Toe Caps; sometimes, it’s not immediately apparent. For instance, a pair of shoes may look in excellent condition, but upon inspection by a cobbler, it’s found that the liner needs to be stitched back together. On the other hand, there are instances where the condition of the shoes is evident from the start.
Our stitching services start at $12 per shoe. When you fill out the online form, you can choose if you want us to call you or if okay with us doing the stitching without contacting you. If you can see that your shoes need stitching, we recommend you don’t ask to be contacted. That way, we can finish your shoes without any delays.
If you have any questions about your shoes, send us detailed pictures.
About 3+ if you regularly resole your shoes and follow the care suggestions. However, the life of the shoe will be shortened if the rands are worn down and the toecaps need to be replaced. It truly depends on how you care for your shoes.
The online order will only allow 9 pairs to be added. We ask you NOT to fill out multiple orders. Instead add a list with the following information.
- Order #
- Shoe model
- Shoe size
- rubber prefrence
- owners contact (if sending in for more than one person)
Please email us if you have any additional questions.
Yes, we recommend filling out a single order form for all the shoes being sent in.
However, if you have different order numbers and are sending them together, please provide very detailed information when sending them in so that we can match them to the correct order. In such cases, we will send them back as separate orders.
Unfortunately, we don’t offer any discounts on resoles. However, we do have a loyalty program. For every $60 deposit you make for a resole, you earn 100 points. Once you’ve accumulated 1,000 points, you’ll get $60 off your next resale.
Unfortunately, we can’t add shoes to orders that are already in our queue. You’ll need to fill out a new order and send them in separately.
